Terms of Service
Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SudoPrivateClips apps and hosted service (the “Service”), which turn long-form videos into short, captioned clips and can publish them to connected social destinations. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Your Account
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
Your Content & Responsibilities
You retain ownership of the videos you submit and the clips the Service generates from them. You grant us the limited rights needed to process, store, deliver, and (when you choose) publish that content to destinations you connect.
You are solely responsible for having the necessary rights to any content you submit, including videos referenced by URL. You may not use the Service to process or publish content that infringes the rights of others, is unlawful, or violates a platform’s terms that bind you.
Connected Destinations
When you connect third-party accounts (for example Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or Facebook), you authorize the Service to act on your behalf within the permissions you grant. Those platforms’ terms also apply. We are not responsible for platform policy changes, account restrictions, or content rejections by those services.
Subscriptions & Billing
If paid plans are offered, they unlock higher usage limits. Web subscriptions may be billed by our payment processor on a recurring basis until canceled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or the processor’s refund policy.
Acceptable Use
- No infringing, unlawful, or harmful content.
- No attempts to probe, disrupt, or overload the Service or circumvent usage limits.
- No reselling or white-labeling the hosted Service without our written permission.
- No use of the Service to violate third-party platform terms that apply to you.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by SudoPrivateClips or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” AI-generated output (transcripts, captions, clip selections, virality estimates) may contain errors and is provided without warranty of accuracy. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SudoPrivateClips will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination survive.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
